ZEBRA, The Intelligent Stepper Motor with Absolute Encoder Feedback and Electronic Brake

Zebra Stepper Motors use modern manufacturing techniques to integrate stepper motor, absolute encoder, single-axis motion controller, PLC, stepper motor drives, and powerful easy-to-learn and use software into one complete high-performance system that provides multiple interfaces including USB, RS232/485, and CAN, and may be operated independently off-host.

Zebra Highlights

1. Patented unique stepper motor electronic brake technology, solved slow respond, short life, and loud noise problems with mechanical and electromagnetic brakes, also saved installation space.

Use patented unique multi-turn absolute position encoder reading technology as feedback, solved the system restart mechanical origin reposition problem for linear or rotary movement, prevent misstep for stepper motors, improved the positioning accuracy of the equipment, and eliminated the homing switch installation.

3. Use advanced servo and subdivision stepping drive technology and unique calculation method, improved the operating speed for stepper motor, and achieved high-speed high-precision positioning.

4. Compare to servo motors, this series eliminates the trouble of PID adjustment, has better loading capacity than servo motors with the same volume, and the rated torque is equivalent to the maximum torque of servo motors.
