PCB drilling is a key process  in the entire printed circuit board production and takes the longest production time. It’s processing and manufacturing equipment level will directly affect the quality, the performance, and the cost (30-40% of the total production cost) of the PCB. Mechanical drilling and laser drilling are the common methods used for PCB drilling. Due to the cost of equipment and processing efficiency, 90% of the industry have adopted the CNC mechanical drilling for PCB drilling; laser drilling accounted for only about 10%. Therefore, CNC drilling is the mainstream of PCB precision drilling.
